The 1861 Farmhouse operates a small, boutique winery located in the restored barn on the property. Along with the historic farmhouse, the barn is listed as a contributing property on the National Register of Historic Places. The 1861 Farmhouse Winery has enjoyed incredible success in its short history, posting impressive Silver, Gold, Double-Gold, and Best in Category wins in state and regional wine competitions. The Old World Tasting Room at the 1861 is open during restaurant hours. Winery tours can be accommodated with advance notice.
